1. Why is the fresh delivery on the next week on Friday?

We have a kill and process cycle of every two weeks.  We want to get the lamb to you in the best condition possible and with the longest chilled life available.  We achieve this goal by supplying you on a two weekly basis directly after processing.

 

2. When will the lamb be delivered?

New Zealand couriers will have the Fresh lamb box to you on Friday morning. Frozen lamb cuts will  be delivered from Tuesday to Friday, two days after ordering.

 

3. Why can I get frozen lamb two days after my order (Tuesday–Friday)?

Being frozen we have stocks available to fill your order and can supply immediately.

 

4. How can I pay and how can I be confident that this will be secure?

Online orders can be purchase with Visa, Mastercard or using your Paypal account.  We operate all transactions through Paypal.  This allows:

  • You to pay without exposing your credit card details to us
  • 100% protection from unauthorized payments

 

5. What confirmation do I receive when I place my order?

1)      Confirmation and summary of Order  from Cardrona Merino Lamb

2)      Confirmation of Payment by Paypal

3)      Confirmation of Order being shipped

 

6. Will the lamb need to be frozen as soon as I receive it?

No.  We have chilled and packaged the lamb using best practice guidelines within the industry.

Lamb with Bone: No more than 3 weeks in the fridge is recommended
Lamb without any Bone: No more than 4 weeks in the fridge is recommended
Sausages: No more than 5 days in the fridge is recommended

              

(Please note, if you do not think you will eat the lamb within the chilled time frames the earlier the lamb is frozen the better for its frozen life.)

 

7. What is the price of freight to anywhere in the North Island?

The price for 10 kg overnight freight and a chill box is $23 inc. GST. 

The price for 20 kg overnight freight and a chill box is $46 inc. GST.

 

8. What is the price of freight to anywhere in the South Island?

The price for 10 kg overnight freight and a chill box is $17.25 inc. GST. 

The price for 20 kg overnight freight and a chill box is $28.75 inc. GST.

 

9. Why do I need a business address to receive my lamb?

Because this is a perishable product we want to be certain that someone will be able to receive the lamb and make sure the lamb will continue to be chilled. To give us the business address for delivery, please use the text box in the billing address form or create a new shipping address, by clicking the new button in the shipping address selection box on the checkout page.

 

10. Why don’t you send the lamb to my Rural Delivery address?

We are unable to guarantee that your lamb will arrive the next day if you are a Rural Delivery address.  By choosing a shipping address of a local garage or shop we can be certain that your lamb will arrive chilled and in perfect condition.  Please just give ‘your local’ a call and ask them to contact you when the lamb arrives.

 

11. How do I add a Business address for shipping that is different than my billing address?

To give us the business address for delivery, please use the text box in the billing address form or create a new shipping address, by clicking the new button in the shipping address selection box on the checkout page.
